I don't see anywhere on this site where this question is answered. Technically, if you make the payment, It should be paid but, better safe than sorry because it is non-refundable. You should definitely call Bud's to confirm. 859-368-0371

No worries Chuck. As long as you are making an effort to make your payments we have no desire to expire your layaway or assess any late fees. Policies are necessary to avoid intentional abuse, but we are flexible and willing to work with anybody who is making an honest effort.
As far as the layaway the check has to be entered to where it is in the process before the expire date. I have bought many guns on the layaway plan and I haven't had any trouble. as long as you enter the payment before your layaway is up that is all that matter as it generally takes time for the check to clear regardless of whether it is a layaway plan gun or not. Hope this helps.
I would just not chance it. I enter the check (ACH) for final payment on the web page at least 5 business days of one week in advance, whichever is greater.
