Hi Mark, this has three (3) individual magazines which can hold four 3 inch shotgun shells or five 2 ¾ inch shotgun shells each. So it will hold 12 total 3" shells in the magazines. Stay safe & have a great day!

Hi Mark and welcome. 3 inch = 12 +1 or 1 less shell per tube. Cheers and stay safe!
