Hi Chuck and welcome. You will get the best results with rifled Foster type slugs and Improved Cylinder or Modified Chokes. Do not fire slugs through the Full Choke. Cheers and stay safe!

Hi Chuck, you can shoot slugs out of an over & under but use cylinder or improved cylinder choke tubes for best results using and rifled slugs. As for how this specific gun will perform, that's something you will have to find out for yourself. You will not find any reviews on shooting slugs with the Puma Lynx. Stay safe & have a great day!

you can shoot slugs out of it however be aware that the 2 barrels will shoot to different points of aim this is due to the ways the barrels are set they should converge at about 35-40 yards lower barrel starts out about a inch lower also there is more muzzle rise when shooting the top barrel the lower barrel will give a more straight line recoil if you are hunting using slugs you be better off with a good semi auto or pump
