Hi Elizabeth, I am not reading good things about the JTS M12AR. First off, (according to owner's manual) you need to use shells with at least 1250 fps velocity to function properly . Some are saying theirs won't cycle with less than 1500 fps. That's a lot of recoil. And if it matters to you, it's made in China. I would go with the reliable, made in USA Mossberg 500SP.
