yes it is easy to brake down from owners manual pg 18 "With the action closed, unscrew the forend screw with the 4mm Allen wrench or depress the button on the QD forend and pull forward. Slide the forend off of the barrel. Remove the barrel from the receiver by pushing the barrel catch lever in.
