Sorry I have read the rules again and again and I am not sure. This one worries me " ✘ Shotguns that include both a butt stock and a pistol grip if the pistol grip comes installed instead of the buttstock by the firearm's manufacturer." I strongly suggest that you check with your FFL as he will be the one to put his license on the line in a transfer
Had a conversation about this not too long ago. A pump shotgun with a pistol grip is no longer allowed, even though the barrel length is 18.5.
Jason its a semi auto not a pump
Hi Carroll and welcome. With the ever-changing State gun Laws, I would inquire to a local FFL Dealer who will be up to speed on your specific State laws. Cheers and stay safe!
Ooops, I thought this was a pump shotgun. Then absolutely a no go for NY!
Hi Carroll, it appears to be non-compliant because of the birds head grip. Apparently NY considers a birds head grip a pistol grip. Smoothbore (non-rifled) barrel firearms with a pistol grip, regardless of barrel length, including, but not limited to, the Mossberg Cruiser, Mossberg Shockwave, Remington Tac-14, Henry Axe, etc. https://www.budsgunshop.com/feeds/state_reg/new_york_restrictions.pdf , Stay safe & have a great day!
