The items in the 180 days to pay category mostly represent overstock inventory where either we, or our suppliers, are willing to offer 180day terms. It is admittedly not in our interest to continue to populate that section with new items (= more excess inventory)...rather use it as intended, an additional incentive to move otherwise slow moving and excess inventory.
It does get updated. Things come off and infrequently a little new is added. As the Buds' employees pointed out it is really for the company's benefit and not the consumers'. The best we consumer can ask and expect is that Bud's use the little advertising window that comes up each time you log on to announce any overstock additions to the 180-day listing. Fortunately Bud's still supports the 90-day layaway program.
