Hi Brian, no sir, you can not use .22 mag cylinders in the standard Ruger Wrangler. It is not made to withstand the extra pressures of the .22 magnum cartridge. The Super Wrangler can use and comes with both .22lr and .22mag cylinders. https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/155722/ruger+super+wrnglr+.22+lr+5.5+6+round+black , Stay safe & have a great day!
Hi Brian and welcome. No, the Super Wrangler has both cylinders available : https://ruger.com/products/superWrangler/models.html --------------------- Standard Wranglers are 22LR only : https://ruger.com/products/wrangler/models.html
i really suggest contacting ruger and seeing if they can fit a 22 mag to the standard wrangler. I love my rugers but in the case of the zinc 22 revolvers I would go with the heritage rough rider they are very well made and have many more options than the ruger
