Hi James, no sir, The 45 Colt bullet is a true 45, .451 inch bullet. The .410 barrel is much too small to safely fire a 45 bullet through. This is a smoothbore barrel, and you can safely fire .410 rifled slugs. Guns that can fire both .410 and 45LC, such as the Taurus Judge, are specifically designed to handle both loads. If a .410 bore gun is not specifically designed and marked as a combo gun that can safely chamber and fire .45 Colt cartridges, attempting to do so would be dangerous. Stay safe & have a great day!

NO IT IS UNSAFE TO SHOOT A 45LC in a 410 look at it this way the 410 has a bore diameter of 0.41 inch the 45LC uses a 0.454 bullet trying to push a .454 bullet through a .410 hole will cause a huge spike in pressure which the gun is not made to handle. Guns like the judge can fire a 410 because the bore is made for a 45LC which is larger than 410.
