Hi Andre and welcome. Depends on what your shooting needs are. 1 inch of barrel length in .357 equals on average 50 fps to 80 fps depending on the load. Not a terribly lot in a magnum revolver but the extra ft-lbs of energy may make the difference. Cheers and stay safe!
