I have heard from some that the Ruger Mini 14s whose model numbers begin with 584xx are more accurate than previous models. Others say 58xxx. Is this particular model 5847 accurate? Seems like a lot of people have bought it. Also, what sling would be good for it? Thanks.

the ruger mini 14 has steadily gotten more accurate. the new guns are the most accurate mini 14s

Hi Robert and welcome. There will not be any accuracy issues with this rifle. It is inherently more accurate than the majority of shooters unless of course you are Bob Lee Swagger.
