Hello:

I know Mossberg discontinued their left handed models a few years back. I'm interested in this model, because I'm new to hunting, and Mossberg is a great American made gun. Is it an issue that the shells shoot out to the right hand side if I'm shooting lefty? Long story short is that my question is based around safety related issues if I'm shooting left handed, and the shells discharge from the right. I don't want to get hit in the face with shells.

no issues at all Mossberg is on of the best right hand guns for lefty's to shoot because if the sliding tang mounted  safety the shells will not hit you and you will learn to ignore them

Hi Stephen and welcome. No issue with shell ejection. It ejects to the right and slightly forward. No issue if your face is properly on the cheek rest. Cheers and stay safe!
