I'm fairly certain that if you add a stock to this that it will be an SBR, then you'd need to go through the process of getting an NFA tax stamp. I would double check with your local FFL for a better answer on Legality.
Hi Jasvir and welcome. Yes but, you could add a brace no issue. Adding a should stock required NFA registration and a $200 Tax Stamp. Cheers and stay safe!
Hi Jasvir, it is legal in Texas as configured. It is also legal to put a pistol brace on it, but if you add a stock, you turn it into a SBR. That would require registration with the ATF and a $200 tax stamp BEFORE you are in possession of the stock. Just add a brace and you will be fine. Stay safe & have a great day!
you can add a brace without additional paperwork to add a stock you have to do the paperwork and pay the NFA tax stamp for a short barrel rifle
