So many options for one to consider when it comes to a shotgun for home defense but I'm gonna keep it simple. If you're in a Free state that'll allow the Purchase of a Mossberg Shockwave (Now banned in our state of NY) then that'd be a good choice. You can maneuver through close quarters with it and it's small enough to have in an inconspicuous hiding spot. This model can be had in 12g, 20g or even .410!! A nice .00 Buckshot will do the trick!!
