I'm sure this has been asked before but I don't see it in the FAQs. Should I have my background check run at my FFL before initiating a layaway? Thanks.

Hi Davis and welcome. You can but, the NICs check only takes a couple of minutes. If you don't pass, Buds would arrange for firearm pickup and you would get a total refund. Cheers and stay safe!

If you're not sure you can pass a background check then ask your local FFL if they can run one without a Firearm purchase. Not sure if they can?
