it is 5.75 lbs. just some thoughts on it for home defense 1st a light weight 20 ga has a lot of recoil 2nd shockwave guns are hard to handle due to the ergonomics. (no stock to brace against your body) I think you may be better with the 410 shockwave https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/104637/mossberg+%26+sons+590+shockwave+.410+14+5+1 Its 4.25 lbs and can use both 3 inch and 2.5 inch 410 loads
Hi Joseph and welcome. unloaded weight is 5.75lbs and fully loaded with 6rds of 2 3/4-inch Buck loads approximately 6.1lbs. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!
Hi Joseph, I agree with Randy, the .410 Shockwave is lighter with less recoil for a woman to handle. My wife handles it with ease and she is a weakling. I recommend this ammo for home defense https://www.budsgunshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/84263/hornady+critical+defense+.410+ga+fxt+slug+with+flex+tip+20rd+box , Stay safe & have a great day!
