Hi Cody and welcome back. 30-30, .243, .270, .308, 30-06 etc. All have killed and is plenty sufficient for deer in rifle calibers. Handgun calibers (with full power loads) at reasonable distances, .357 Magnum, 10mm, 41Magnum, 44 Magnum etc. work just fine. cheers and stay safe!
