I am looking for a 380 ACP magazine to fit a 1908 colt, that has a finger rest. My hands are too big to have my pinky fit on the regular grip.
Could I use an 7 round magazine with a finger grip and trim the back edge of the finger grip so that the magazine release could still catch it in the normal fashion?

Hi Jonathan and welcome. Unfortunately, this magazine won't work. You may have to try some similar .380 magazine floorplates with the built in finger rest . Or you could experiment with epoxying to the current magazine's bottom, an extension fashioned out of rubber or plastic (trimmed to fit). Cheers and stay safe!
