Hi Patricia, CCI is top of the line and will work fine, but it is more expensive (.09 vs .05/round) than some other brands that will work just as good. Patricia, the ar7 prefers higher velocity ammo. So as long as it's not subsonic you should be good but with any 22lr I'd recommend buying a couple different brands and see what works best.
