I own the S&W M&P AR15-22 and love it for plinking. It is perfect for my 3 kids. ...but I'd like to move up to the true feel of an AR with a true AR15 lower, while staying with the .22LR. I've seen 2 AR style rifles that have caught my eye. The CMMG .22LR RIFLE 16 MIL-SPEC M4 25+1 CA22A7C20 ........and the new Kriss USA DM22CBL00 Defiance DMK22C Semi-Automatic. Most important to me is a quality AR15Lower. 2nd is the reliability of the rifle. Thx!

Just my opinion, but the Kriss would be my pick on this one due to the fore end and flip up sights. The lower specs are virtually identical but, the Kriss will be slightly more versatile out the box. I happen to own A CMMG 308 that I love, so no bias here.

of the 2 the Kriss would be my pick also but I would be more inclined to buy or build a .556 AR15 and add a 22lr upper
