Hi Carmine, the barrel is threaded. Your best bet is to buy this in a local gun shop where they will pin/weld the thread protector. I am a NJ resident and have seen this configuration for sale in some gun shops near me. Stay safe & have a great day!

Unfortunately, Buds will not ship it to NJ due to the Threaded Barrel. I'd take Ed's advice and look for one locally.
