Is the Hi Point 380 a good gun for conceal carry in your pocket? Or is it too big, heavy? I believe it says the barrel size is 3.5. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Hi Dee, in my opinion, this Hi-Point is a bit heavy for such a small gun, at 29 oz. Also, Hi-Point pistols are not known for their quality.

Hi Dee and welcome. The HiPoint .380 is large and Heavy and not a good choice for CC. If you want something small yet effective for CC, there's the Ruger LCP MAX. It's a small package but boasts a 10+1 round capacity.

And the Ruger LCP Max does not have a thumb safety, which is why I recommended the Security .380
