I believe that this LCPII in (22 LR) does in fact have a manual safety. The LCPII in 380 ACP does not. Also, it is my understanding that the LCPII 380 version has been discontinued. The item shown here shows a product code of 13727 which no longer appears on Ruger's website. They show one with a code of 13729 for an LCPII in 22LR Cobalt Kinetic slate with a manual safety as well as trigger blade safety. Just wondering what this really is.

Hi John, this is a Talo Edition with Cobalt Cerakote Slide, manual safety. 13729 is a RSR Group Distributor Exclusive with Cobalt Kinetic Slate Cerakote Slide. The colors are slightly different, but other than that, they are the same. 
You are correct that the LCP II in .22lr has a manual safety and the .380 does not. Also the LCP II  .380 was discontinued in favor of the LCP Max .380.

Hi John and welcome. This is a Talo which is a special edition. It does have a Manual Safety. Considering the new LCP Max has a marginally thicker grip and the same slide width, it should be no surprise the LCP II . 380 has been discontinued due to the demand and impressive features of the LCP Max.
