Hi Joseph and welcome. Yes Sir. It will fire 2 3/4 inch shells no issue. Same concept as a .357 Magnum being able to fire the shorter .38 Special. A particular length chamber can fire that length or shorter shells. Cheers and stay safe!

Absolutely my friend. It's chambered for 3" shells so it will also chamber/fire 2-3/4" shells.
