Don't think they're supposed to. I'd talk to the FFL dealer that transferred the guns to you, they would be required to keep record of all firearms and their serial numbers that they facilitated the transfer of for 20 years.

Hi William and welcome. Sorry your guns were stolen. Had this happen to me in the past and it is not a good feeling. Your local FFL puts the Serial Numbers in their inventory since they are the ones that transfer the forearms to you after the 4473 paperwork. Your local FFL will have these in record.
