The trigger, and recoil would be the biggest thing to overcome when it comes to this firearm for a senior women. It is a smaller frame so grip should not be an issue

Okay, my wife had issues with racking so she went with the S&W Shield EZ and loves it! It comes in either .380 or 9mmm. It has a lighter spring which makes working the slide a breeze, especially if someone has issues with weaker hands.
