Are there any other features added to this model for compliance issues other than removing the 15 round mags for 10 round mags? Any added locks or California compliance stuff?

Hi Kevin and welcome. No Sir. The reason is that Gen 3 Models were submitted by Glock for certification for the CA DOJ Handgun Roster.  There are no Gen4 or Gen5's on the CA Handgun Roster as shown in Red here ; https://oag.ca.gov/firearms/certified-handguns/search?make=150972
