Do any one know what model magazine (baretta cougar or any other) will work with the stoeger 40. There are a multiple of them and I don't want to keep ordering just to find the right fit.

Yup! Beretta sold the machinery for the Cougar to Stoeger so they are interchangable! Beretta Cougar mags, not the 92/96 series. Although I read the 92 nags can be converted. Videos on YouTube.
