I am interested in this gun, but wondering what the description means when it says "newly textured grip" does that mean someone stippled the grip or did gen4 glocks describe their grips as newly textured when they first came out.

Shawn, this is a factory "Textured Grip" by Glock. It has bite but, I really like the texture on the Gen 4 grip!
