Opinion: Since this is a single action revolver with 2 separate cylinders that space off the rim (just like the 45acp/45 long colt and 357/9mm models} the spent shell is ejected by a rod thru the loading port. Using moon clips is not even an option. The moon clips are used in Double action swing out cylinders not Single action revolvers..

you are are correct in that it does not use half moon clips It headspaces on a lip machined in the barrel just like the .45acp and 9mm cylinders. when you look in these cylinders you can see a machined chamber
