Yes it does Michael. It locks up against the gun by pulling the swivel assembly straight out then pivoting up and locking back in place. When the pod is down and open the gun can lean left or right, pivot up and down, and rotate left and right, this allows to set the bipod on uneven ground and still maintain a vertical shooting position.
