Does anyone know how many safety the xten has. I have heard one and also two safety. If so what? Finally how do they work? Yes I know sound like I'm a little nervous about all the talk about the gun firing by being bumped or dropped. Thank s guys.

Hi Dan,  this has no manual safety. Per the owner's manual - "The striker safety lock and disconnect safety ensure safe carrying of the weapon and provide instant readiness without actuating a manual safety."

This model does notbhave an external thumb safety it does however have a Striker safety & disconnect safety.
