No, this is a basic 5.56 chambered barrel in which you can shoot .223. Not the .223 Wylde which will allow for more accuracy when using the higher pressured 5.56.

Hi Mike and welcome. This model has a 5.56NATO Stamped Barrel and will fire both 5.56 and .223. The Wylde Barrel bridges the gap between 5.56 and .223 so better accuracy is attained with .223 than out of a straight 5.56 chambered rifle. cheers and stay safe!
