Hi William, all this needs to be NJ complaint is to have the thread protector pinned/welded. Bud's does not do compliant work, but there are many gun shops in NJ where you can buy this gun. I am a NJ resident and have seen this for sale in a few gun shops. This does not have a folding/telescoping stock, the gun itself folds in half, so #1 in the answer below does not apply. With all that being said, your best bet is to buy this locally at a gun shop in NJ, where it will be made compliant. Stay safe & have a great day!
