Yes, that's the idea. Change out the BCG & use the .22lr mags that come with the Cmmg conversion kit.

And is it as simple as I see others in videos with different AR's to change over? Looks like you simple press a button on the side and lift up then side the bolt out and replace with the 22lr then push back down and that's it right? Or with the Anderson ar replace more to it? Thanks
