The 38 Special version = no and the 357 version = yes. I have the 2" 357 Model and it is built like a tank. EAA says the 38 Special version warranty gets voided with The use of reloaded, Super-Vel, +P, high pressure or hand-loaded ammunition can be dangerous and will void the warranty. The 38 spl EAA is not made of the same metal as the 357 EAA. They use a zamak alloy just like Hi Point. The 38 spl Windicator should not be fed +P.
DO NOT USE +P in the windicator .38 special from the owners manual "Type Of Ammunition To Be Used It is suggested that high quality commercially manufactured ammunition be used in this firearm. Avoid military surplus or old ammunition as it may not fire with sufficient force to expel the projectile from the barrel.
