Is this the only option for 45acp that is optic ready AND has the newer trigger? Looking for a regular non threaded barrel model or can I buy a regular barrel for it?

Hi Johnny and welcome. This is currently the only option. I would check with Smith and Wesson on acquiring a standard barrel at  1-800-331-0852 Ext. 2904 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, Monday - Friday.
