Savage shows this model rifle without the accessory rails. Does this Bud's model have the accessory rails, and if so can they be removed (and replaced) depending on the need?

Hi Alvin, it should come without the rails as shown on the Savage web site. If it does, by chance, come with them, they can easily be removed.

Hi Alvin and welcome. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts and has a Picatinny rail system for your tactical additions. The Picatinny Rail System is removable. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!
