Iknow the val commander holds 8 rounds & it's over 3oz. heaver but it ends there! the frame alum. different hamer. but is it the same size all around as the valor commander, is it the same measerments, dan wessons, costumer sev. would'nt retern 4 of my calls. web site for valkyer & valkyer commander are listed 8" long 5" height.can't be 1 is an officer frame 1 commaner. I'd like to know if the valk. commarder stacks you to size with all the other commarders in wessons line? thank you

The Valkyrie is a variation on the CCO (commander-length slide on an officer frame). Ok theres the full specs on each. The extra round, the frames making the barrel length 4.25" vs 4.30", 25 LPI checkering and tactical tritium sights are the differences.

different frame sizes the Valkyrie is a Officers or compact size frame with a commander size slide  the Valkyrie Commander is a full size frame with a commander size slide (frame size  is why the Valkyrie is a 7+1 gun and the Commander is 8+1)

The Valkyrie Commander simply has a "Full Size frame" (more real estate for larger hands) and +1 more round. This gives you a true 1911 grip feel with the shorter slide for carry comfort.
