Hi Paul and welcome. It does but to a lesser degree compared to the snub-nosed models. There is a more complete powder burn the longer the barrel before the bullet exits. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!

Not so much. As James explained, the shorter the barrel, you get an incomplete powder burn than the longer barrel model.
