Hi Branden, it's not even close to being CA compliant. Prohibited - Semi-automatic centerfire rifles that do not have a fixed magazine, but have any one of the following features:: ○ ***** Pistol grip - a grip that protrudes conspicuously beneath the action of the firearm. ○ Thumbhole stock ○ ***** Folding or telescoping stock ○ Grenade or flare launcher ○ ***** Flash suppressor or flash hider ○ Foregrip - a grip that protrudes conspicuously benea the barrel and in front of the action . Items with **** are banned features, along with the 30rd magazine. If you want an AR15 in CA, either it has to be featureless or it must come with a fixed magazine. https://www.budsgunshop.com/feeds/state_reg/california_restrictions.pdf

Yeah sorry but no, this model is so far from CA compliancy.
