This item is made for the tactical style 10/22. If you have a regular style 10/22 it will not make it a takedown. This conversion is only made to work on the tactical style 10/22. Hope this helps.

The Tapco Fusion Rifle System is the model designed for the standard Ruger 10/22.

They have specific models for the takedown and the normal 10/22. They dont work interchangeably unfortunately

This is for a Ruger take down model,It will not convert a standard 10/22 into a take down.
