Ok quick question I hope. I live in Indiana, and I was actually going to be visiting Kentucky in a couple of weeks. While I was down there, I was going to stop at Buds. Is it legal for me to purchase a bolt action rifle while I'm there, and not have to transfer it via FFL? Some of the responses I see online to this question are very contradictory.

Under Federal law It is legal to purchase a long gun across state lines as long as the sale is legal in both states. that being said some FFL holder will not do the sale. I would contact the store in KY and see what their policy is Phone number is (859) 368-0419
