Hi Maurice, not sure how guys are giving you recommendations without knowing what you are using the gun for. You say 'Best Maverick 88 all around defense hunting ammo', so are you looking for ammo for defense, or hunting? If it is hunting, what are you hunting for? You certainly don't want buckshot or slugs for squirrel hunting. Sorry, I need more info to make a recommendation.
