I purchase my AR 5.56mm ammo bulk. There are times I know the traditional style Bolt Action 22" barrel will reach to there. Can you safely shot 5.56mm through this .223 gun?

I purchase my AR 5.56mm ammo bulk.  There are times I know the traditional style Bolt Action 22" barrel will reach to there.  Can you safely shot 5.56mm through this .223 gun?
