Hi Charles and welcome. The 92X Performance Defensive uses a Brigadier slide, and the steel frame has been lightened compared to the 92X Performance. The frame on the 92X Performance Defensive does not have the integral Picatinny rail that is included on other 92X models. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!

Hi Charles, 92X Performance Defensive features a lightened steel frame and Brigadier slide adapted to meet the specific weight requirements for IDPA regulation firearms: removal of the traditional Picatinny rail and additional slight modifications on the internal design of the slide and frame.
