The three-shot adapter is removed from the magazine. However, I can only get 4 shells in the magazine. This makes the gun a 4+1 not a 5+1. The shells are 2 3/4. What am I not doing correctly? thanks

Hi Alvin, even though the Winchester web site states this is 5+1, the owners manual states "With the magazine three-shot adapter (plug) removed, Super X® Pump 3" shotguns will hold four 2¾" or three 3" shells in the magazine."
Look in your owners manual under 'Magazine Capacity'
Sounds like a real bummer, Winchester web site states incorrect capacity.
