Hi Edward and welcome. It will be generally compatible with other 1911 parts, but there are differences between some 9mm and 45 acp parts. Do know though up front that 1911 parts aren't necessarily drop in. They may require some fitting and sometimes ALOT of fitting. Some parts MIGHT drop in and work, but don't count on it. If not fitted if they need it, the gun will range from shooting unreliability to not shooting at all.
