Unless there is a CA approved variant then there is nothing Bud's can do since the pistols and magazines are pre-packaged. The Ruger SR series is popular enough there is probably a CA approved version or there will be soon.
We're only limited to 10 in Ca. They will not open boxes to switch out mags. The Ruger SR9E isn'y compliant in Ca either way.
Sorry the Ruger SR series of pistols are not on the CA DOJ approved list so even if you can get a 10 round version it is not legal in CA see link to list http://certguns.doj.ca.gov/safeguns_resp.asp
Unfortunately Davinn, Buds does not open/alter new firearms packages or accessories by strict policy. The firearm must be "Dtate" compliant as it comes from the manufacturer. Sorry about this bit of bad news.
