No tighter than full for slugs. For shot you would need to pattern your shotgun to see which gives you the pattern you like.

depends on what you are doing larger shot can shoot better through a looser choke steel should not be shot through a tight choke I have never had the need for a extra or supper full choke

Hi Eric and welcome. Super full is best for bird shot and buck shot up to 00 Buck. Full for 000Buck. Do not fire any Slugs through Full or higher chokes, cylinder through modified only. Cheers, stay safe and enjoy!
